Is there perhaps a registry wipe that needs to happen? wouldn't know the first step in doing that but I will dig around myself. I wonder if it has to do with the wii mote itself.you would think that after uninstall/reinstalling everything should be wiped clean. Then, after it shut off, it no longer recognizes it. The weird thing is that I got toshiba stack to recognize the same controller that you are describing. Is that ok ? Is there any special problem with that one ? Are there any special wiimotes plus that cannot works even with the Toshiba stack ? I repeat, the black wiimotes plus I have are originals and comes from the US. I pressed the red sync button and the 1 and 2 buttons. But my new black wiimotes with motion plus built Inside cannot even be detected. It can detect old wii remote because I have 2 of those. Previously, I had the bluetooth uninstalled completely for a fresh install. I did that at the moment the installation program asked me to plug in my Bluetooth device. Yes i've followed all the instructions in this guide already, i've modified the tosrfusb file addind a line with the corresponding material ID which in my case is USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8 for the kinivo device. I would apreciate so much to get those 3 new wiimote plus working and play with my kids! lol! Is anybody experience the same problem ? Is there any possible solution ? I really don't get what I am doing wrong since lots of posts here seems to claim that with Toshiba BT Stack correctly installed (which is the case here) the original RVL-CNT-01-TR wiitmotes I have should already be working. The installation of the Toshiba BT Stack is correct because Windows can detect my old white wiimotes (RVL-CNT-01) without problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled both the Bluetooth devices and the Toshiba stack multiple times without any good results. I can't get to see the RVL-CNT-01-TR signature inside the Toshiba detection program.

Everytime I try to set a new connection, Windows 7 doesn't even detect anything.

With both of them, I managed to install Toshiba BT stack with the tutorial found on this forum without any problem disabling automatic drivers research in Windows update. I tried 2 diferent Bluetooth dongles : The rocketfish 2.1 Bluetooth dongle bought at Best Buy and a Kinivo 4.1 Bluetooth dongle bought at amazon.ca. I got 3 new original black wiimotes motion plus built Inside (RVL-CNT-01-TR).
